Matt Williams B.Env.Des, B.Arch (Hons)
Matt is the principal of the practice. He is a registered architect in Tasmania and Victoria. Prior to starting MWA, Matt gained experience working in Tasmania, Victoria and the UK, on projects ranging from affordable to high-end residential; and small to large institutional. Matt is a Green Star Accredited Professional through the Green Building Council of Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Chris Clinton B.Env.Des, B.Arch (Hons)
As an architect with a wealth of experience, Chris brings to the practice a depth of knowledge in design and project management. Among his strengths is his interest in sustainable principles in design and construction and his experience working with all levels of government. Chris has worked on numerous multi-residentual projects, up to $16M, and heritage-listed buildings. Chris also has practical skills gained through construction and manufacturing experience, allowing him to grasp the practical implications of design concepts.

Tasha Lowry B.Env.Des. B.Arch
Tasha is an accomplished graduate architect whose design experience in the areas of landscape architecture, urban and graphic design enhances the depth of her architectural expertise. She brings to the practice a strong conceptual design ability and keen interest in the qualities, combinations and possibilities of materials. Tasha has experience working on small to large institutional, commercial and residential projects in both Victoria and Tasmania.

Alex Reed B.Env.Des, B.Arch (Hons)
Alex is a graduate architect, with prior training in furniture and graphic design, whose keen design sense further strengthens our ability to respond to difficult briefs and restricted budgets. Alex’s skills also allow the practice to provide clear computer models that help our clients interpret our concepts and designs for their project. Since joining the practice, he has gained significant onsite and contract administration experience. His strong interpersonal skills allow him to communicate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors.

Katy Thomas B.Ed (Hons)
Within our practice, it is invaluable to have Katy to provide a non-architectural perspective. Her exceptional verbal and written communication skills enable her to deal comfortably with clients, consultants and contractors; and to manage our office systems effectively. As a past client of our office and an owner-builder, she also understands the complexities of the architectural and building processes.
